Hey I don't know if anyone talked about this yet (sorry if I missed it) but what are we gonna do about the dirtbags who stalked our hotel last year?:rocketwhore:

With all due respect... We need to do the basic things:
  1. Don't leave your hotel room open wide all day and let people come in and out...
  2. Use the safe in the room for valuables...
  3. Report to me, beach patrol, or hotel security anyone who looks suspiscious. (ie. loser meth heads w/ back packs)
  4. Keep all your gear in one place, not scattered around everywhere
  5. Keep an eye on youir buddys stuff
  6. Be aware of who is staying in the rooms around you.
I really feel it was our fault that we had a little problem w/ some stuff missing... We acted like the entire beach was w/ our party... The fact is, Daytona attracts a lot of visitors and we need to be aware that they all are not w/ us... even if they may look like they are...

Anyone not staying at the hotel has no right to be on the premesis... If you see anyone acting suspiscious ask them what room they are in and so on... We need to police the area ourselves along w/ the cops... I will have more security at the hotel for the event, but we still need to keep an eye on things..

im excited.. most likely im coming down. i just need to find one of my buddys to come too.. he needs to buy a new ski first...

and when i come down i should be all carbon fiber reinforced hull, new turf, new carbs and hopefully painted all nice....

also is there a hose where i can flush my ski ? its never seen salt water yet. love lake erie:)

i cant wait. at daytona beach does it ever become flat with no waves? id hope not for that weekend

in the summer sometimes it's totally flat...

winter is usually bigger w/ 4-5 ft sets... plenty big enough to flip.....

my white ski debuted at daytona last year....

first spin: broke steering cable
second spin: sunk
third spin: lost boat, sunk, cussed out world champion freestyler

after that I just let the boat sit upsidedown covered in oil from head to toe and she ran great! :afro:

i really wanna come.. so i wont look like the compleat tard out there if i do alot of no handers, no footers and sad flopping falls? :p

i know its bad... but i ride ALONE all the time.. since ive gotton my ski ive rode with stand up guys 3 of the over 100 times ive been out.. id love to see some stuff and ride and try

No worries: here are a few of the freestyle moves I pulled when I went out in the surf for the first time:

Shorebreak roll: this is a variation on a barrel roll where, instead of doing it in the air. you do it in the water/air/sand mix close to the shore. I managed to pull a double on my first attempt - took me a week to get all the sand out of my ears.

Arse Flip: this is a backflip variation where you actually complete about 70 degrees of rotation, landing hard on your rear. Warning: the body does not have an effective non-return valve, and a wetsuit is recommended for this maneuver.

Donkey Hump: this is where you ride around way too slow because you're too scared to go fast, pumping your butt in and out to try to maintain balance as each wave points the skis nose in the air before you've had time to recover from the last one.

Endless Sub: A sub variation where only the rider comes back to the surface. Bring spare sparkplugs.

Bollock-Bashing Suck-Down: an advanced maneuver, and not for the feint of heart. Approach the beach at some speed, riding the crest of a wave. Stay on the throttle as the wave drops and recedes, at which point the pump will suck the ski hard onto the sand, killing your forward momentum, leaving only the handle pole and your bollocks to keep you from landing face first in the sand.

These are still some of my favorite moves. :ugh2:

I have perfected many of these...I had no idea I was so awesome.

Dude - you were like freakin' Moses out there :beerchug: I'd had a bit more practice by the time I entered the Cherry Buster. Wanna hold for me again this year? Still got to pop mine, and, er... I'd like you to be there :ugh:
