I'm gonna grab some food before I hit Erie. I will be at Bob Evans at 10:00 if anybody wants to meet. (exit 15 right off of I-75). I'll be on the water between 11:00 and 12:00.

The Hot Hole water will probably be 80 degrees. Warm enough that even if the air is cold the water is gonna feel like a warm bathtub.

I wont be able to make it. Been out in AZ this past week through next Tuesday. Really missed the ski's the past couple 100 degree days here.

Well the diehards showed up , Ndh5 ''Nathon'', Nemo '' Ken'', Blaster800 ''Me'', and ???? '' Mike'' , as well as 3 amigos on sxr's and an x-2 that had no idea anyone else were riding at the time so we all had a great time just riding and sharing '' BS''. Ndh5 and I spent most of the time out at the reef where the waves were'' breakin over'' at least 4 ft high with some at times 5 ft im sure , did not know it at the time but there were tornado sirens blaring just a few miles away so Im sure the storms kicked up the the waves, we both got plenty of airtime on the reef , water was 45 degrees, air 80 deg ,hot hole was friggin WARM , nathon was comfy in a 3/2 long john and I was sportin a drysuit for the first time just to check it out '' its the only way to fly in cold water as far as im concerned !!'' Im deff ready for late season waves come fall ! just an update to let you guys know what ya missed ! Oh yea, Nemo has no reserve fuel on board so Mike had to tow him the last 1/4 mile !!!! It Just makes for a more memorable day .... we had fun ! sorry some of ya missed it !

Sounds like you guys had a blast. Wish i could have been there. The stars didnt line up for me this year though. Skis broke, fighting a cold, and family stuff going on. Lets plan for another ride though.

if you guys are looking for a ride later this summer check out the Put-In-Bay Island ride in my sig....

Its a blast.... ferry your stuff over, ski all day, and party at the bars on the island... camping is a good deal there or other more expensive options in the ride thread.... I look forward to it every year.
