2010 World Finals freestyle thread!

Brian is right. I know who is running Eric's 2006 winning motor. Maintain it the way Eric says to and it's still working.

The new EME 1200 is sweet. Lee Stone told me the 1200 has massive power over even the 1105 he had 2 months ago. Lee said it was like a totally differnet boat. Weston - if you came to Body Beach on Monday you'd agree. Malone and Lee were really putting that ski through it's paces. Malone even let Lenzi ride it. I got a chance to see it with the head off after competition and it still looked new.

On another note, ZERO Power Factor engines in competition? That's a big change from last year. Anyone got the inside scoop on that?

roks xfs had an 1100 powerfactor motor

The "?" ski from Belgium had a billet DASA motor and a PFP pipe. He had lots of power, but his pump wasn't setup right. He added the PFP pipe earlier in the week and blew up and I am pretty sure he bought a display motor from DASA that week. Not much time to get it tuned in at all.

He ended up buying the 16MM that we delivered to Jet Connection on Wednesday morning.

His pump was a 148MM, nowhere near big enough and no idea what wheel was in it.

Super-Cool guy though, Phillipe, Tech1 and DASA helped him out the best everyone could.

The boat sounded real good, but you could HEAR the engine accelerate but the boat didn't seem to leap out of the water, a classic sign to me of a loose, or too small, of a pump/wheel combo.

He seemed to take it in stride though, I was worried he was going to seem dissapointed, but clearly the opposite.

I cant wait it hear how he likes it when he puts a 155(or bigger) in it.

Watch the videos, you don't have to be told. Watch the 2008 Video of Rok on a PF powered Rickter and then watch 2010.

anyone have any idea what baxter is doing to those motors that make them so much more power than the yami based stuff, what comp and advance they runnin?where is that rok 08 motor today?these do get sold after wf right?

The Polaris engine is better designed for performance than the Yamaha 62T platform. A Polaris engine set-up and tuned right will beat any Yamaha 62T engine of the same displacement hands down.

I dough it they will sell any WF motor, because they put all they knowledge in that cylinder/cases and if they sell it and end up on wrong hand they might lost they secret, that how I see it!
