Are you painting the hood to match? Thats what we did with the 08

Yes going to paint to match and then install the oem stickers...

Hey twinturbostang have any video if that ski in action? How do you like the tom21 hood?

Friend of mine says the tom21 hood is nice, but the 24/7 is king... 2 guys in our group have fix steers one with 24/7 other has tom21... I guess the 24/7 fit better...

Will see when I start building

TOM21 is still selling hoods where 24/7 isnt.
Both hoods have pros and cons.

24/7 uses the X2 UMI
Tom21 uses the blaster/gp/vent/raid

Build quality Tom21s is very well made and thiought out.
24/7 has a nice postion to it but its all about ride style and where you like it.

Yes and I think Tom made every improvement he could. My brother loves his hood. And the build quality of these hoods are 2nd to none. Only thing for me is I would want the stem forward about 2 to 3 inches, but I'm a big guy.

I'm not bashing either hood, havent owned either... Just going by what riders in our group said about the two hoods since we have one of each..

Lets just hope the 24/7 hood will clear the Type 4 Dry pipe....

If not there is always Power Factory option.... You know you will end up with a 1200cc in it anyway LOL..

I have always wanted a CF (new Style) X2 with big power for surf riding. Just not feasible due to the lack of availability.

Fixed steer for life.
I have a project that we are going to show off at Daytona.

His new build is gonna be a rediculous setup!! Ive thought of this build for a long time...

I'd like to see it. Maybe flip it too since I think that powerplant taught me flips.

I have that powerplant =)

I love fixed steer builds, I'm excited to see how this turns out and what you think of it

that thing will back flip with a stock 650 in the surf. no need for all that crazy big motor crap. limited 701 . a fix steer superjet is so much fun. no worries about sinking you big $$$ motor just ride it untill it runs out of gas. i wish i bought a 24/7hood when i saw the 1st one at his shop back in 2002 in think it was. if your in like half a tank of gas ride shape on a pole ski you will never get tired on a fixsteer superjet. on the other hand it you ride a fs ski for the complete year your pole ski skills will suffer as i found out at wavedaz this year. lol just my 2cents

I like brap , so it's gotta be at least a big bore... My XFR has a 900 and that's my everyday surf ski.... This ski will rip, 144 S/B mag, dual 46's, type 4 dry pipe, 771cc ported Jetmaniac motor... Anyone that knows me will tell you it's going to be a fun ski with great power....

The build will start Monday...
