I dunno where he was from. His name is in my phone as Justin yes. I never accused him. I wanted better pics because of the truck he was in and this hobby we have is not that popular


He told me he was coming from below Fresno. It was a Craigslist deal tho. So I have no idea honestly.

Justin has an older BOB, I called him right when i saw this cuz it was ironic as hell. but didn't look like the justin i know from the security camera. For me everyone is guilty till proven innocent, but i know justin isn't dumb enough to steal a standup (small market to begin) in addition and AM (even smaller) and on top a unique color and package (1 in the US?).

So how close friends are you and justin? You make it seem like he's a good guy.
I swapped ski with him. The hull gen2 bob was mine and the superjet too.
He bullted me he build the ski with ski clinic when I found out he put that ski together the night before we met. In fact the starter was attached with a clamp, all bolts where broken in the engine and the ski run like until me and zack took it apart and put it back together.
He always asked me about riding together which wasn't really making sense since he was from up there and I ride down in oside.
Justin talked at that time about getting a Motel too.

Now the weekend from November 31st to December 1st I went to Pismo and met a weird guy at the gas station asking me about this ski and telling me he was Justin's friend and he knew the ski and he liked what I did to it.
That same night I received the 1st text from the number #760
Pretending to be ZACK asking me to stay the night so that we could ride early am. We had to leave so nothing happened. When he saw we didn't stay and I told him I was selling it he told me somebody is interested in my ski. ( just to let you guys understand I thought it was ZACK bright texting) he knew about him and krash it's somebody who knows.
Now he gave his buddy my the number and wanted to meet the next weekend.
I texted with his buddy and it always came up to stay the night. I even wanted to come up in the morning to let him ride but he told me he wanted to meet at night and didn't need to ride it. Then last night apparently his tire blow up and he had to stay the night. He convinced me to stay the night through text and never answered the phone neither my question of where he was! Again I would have never believed one word and never trusted him so much if I wasn't convinced it was zacks buddy for real. Now my jetski is gone.. And both numbers are not answering.
I'm not accusing anybody and I don't wanna sound rude I'm just saying this guy Justin was beeing very weird with me besides all this and he fooled me sayin he build the ski with the clinic and he didn't. Just saying he's not as honest as you may think.

by the way that is a 98-03 ranger. i can tell the gen by the seat shape, and the black bumper is a dead giveaway of a XL auto/stick with a 4 cylinder motor.

To sum things up her. I drive a lifted chevy Tahoe but occasionally do drive a ranger to haul my bikes and my ski. The ranger I drive has a 3 piece back window not sure if lil d remembers when I picked the ski up or if spark plug does. It also has a blue pin striping. If you want to get ahold of me and clear this up I'm sure you can get my number.

Sounds like it to me. VERY few people had the info to be able to pull this off. The orig seller of the Bob def fits that category. With the security camera, numbers and other evidence (like the fact its a felony) I'm sure they will get caught

Why don't you post a pic with you near your Ranger so every doubt would be solved ?

I have a ski. I don't see why I would need to do this, and also I did not say I knew him I said I have a good friend who knows him. Ive never rode surf so I thought I should give it a shot since you have before and you traded me a surf ski. Pm me your number we will talk this over.

If the thief is reading this thread I just hope he knows what jetskis mean for us. love, money, effort, time, we put everything in these "toys" because it is more than just riding a ski. We worked our way up very hardly, starting from an old 550 to a great aftermarket hull like a BOB. All I am saying is I don't even care who the thief is or why he stole the ski, we just want to have it back because it is our ski, our trophy, we earned it.

Dear thief, come on wherever you are now right now reading this post my advice to you is just don't be stupid ! You know you won't be able to ride or sell it because someone is going to find out since our community is kind of small and the ski is unique. I think you already realized it was a ing bad idea. Therefore try to be smart and just leave the ski where we can find it like in front of a police station or I don't know. US FINDING THE SKI.. THATS THE ONLY WAY NOBODY IS GOING TO COME AFTER YOU !! If not we will HUNT you down !!!

You had the ability to ride the ski when its delivered, if not don't buy it unless you want to risk it. Also, it wasn't assembled the night before because i rode it about a week beforehand because i was considering buying it. And the condition of his ski is one thing but i do know he just rebuilt your motor so you can't make it sound like he F****ed you over. Anyways what you should learn from this is to protect your stuff better and know exactly what is going on (maybe checking up from zack to make sure that he was really his friend). I don't think zack would risk things and send a scammer your way, but if you read over the X long enough you can bull a conversation about a standup. Maybe video or a better picture will help you out
