For those of you that are already there or live up in pismo. How is the river looking this week at low tide?
i know how it has been in the past and how it can be, I am just looking for a current real update on how it is going to be when I get there in my little car this year.

Holding WNW swell with reinforcing SSW swell moving in; Light AM wind; Peaky for beachbreaks exposed to combo

Mix of holding SSW swell and old/easing WNW swell; Lightest wind early; Peaky for beachbreaks exposed to combo; New long period WNW swell starts to build in late

New long period WNW swell fills in further and tops out, while minor SSW swell eases; Occasional larger sets for select spots that focus the long period WNW swell best; Light AM wind

Primary/holding long period WNW swell, with minimal SSW swell; Occasional larger sets for select spots that focus the long period WNW swell best; Light AM wind

Smaller, mid period West swell; small SSW leftovers; light AM winds

hows the beach rangers out there?? do they rag on reg and numbers across the hulls? i seen alot of those pics and most guys arent running cf numbers or they are under their pole.. i got an fx1 that id love to take and go play around for the weekend...

have your reg #'s and current registration handy. who doesent register their skis anyways? its like 20$ or less

just checked the weather and its supose to rain/thunderstorm wed. is that gonna make the river crossing a problem?

yea i was just wondering cause i stripped all my stickers and have my padded rails off was going to get it readY for the wide tray, foot holds, and a 144mm, and a new paint job... sure i can go to wally world get some cf numbers to slap on or .. sharpies always can do the trick.. thanks for the info.! hope i can make it out!

There number one issue at pismo seems to be just safty. Along the beach the speed limit is 15mph and last year they came by because the fire got real big and they asked everyone to keep it a little smaller but regardless we have all seen what happens when you get a cop in a bad mood with a ski that doesn't match the requirements perfectly.

i wouldn't chance it.. You seen what happened to zacks ski and he rides more than 90% of the people on here
ive never had a problem but why risk it...

thanks for the advice broseph...

i was just saying i wouldnt not go because your ski isnt registered...at pismo they have way more important things to worry about...like i said ive been riding there 100s of times over the last 6years without a problem..just dont draw attention to yourself

Key words "don't draw attention to yourself"

I have not been down the beach that way in a while but I would say there will be very little to no creek crossing. Should be able to get across (if the creek is flowing) no problem in any type of vehicle. And remember speed is your vehicles enemy when crossing water! Slow and steady!

I wasn't asking because I am worried about getting stuck, I am a very experience on and off road driver. I was asking because if I go up I will be driving my nicer low car and have no desire to drive it through salt water.
