i had the same problem in the right side... had foam all over the place, then pretty much reglassed over everything

Yeah I know right plus the extra weight of theme, but after I cut mine dwn, they weren't to heavy

Ya i wasn't really gonna say anything but the quality wasn't exactly what i was expecting. As you can see we pretty much cut them down a lot. Lots of glassing and foaming to come. Got down to 35* last night so i suppose not bein able to work on it for a few days will let all that resin set up good.

What are these boxes and pin holes you Guys speak of? Other than the molds being slightly warped from shipping or packing I had zero issues with pin holes?

I laid up some glass last night, just put a couple 250w halogen lights on the glass to keep it toasty.

thank you. I turfed the bottom first, front and then sides. on the sides i started from the front and glued it down one section at a time ...front to back and then stretched it over the top and sides using a heat gun to soften the turf.

As far as the holds go mine just didnt fit for chit. I had to grind and then just ended up cutting them up, its cool though we'll just work around it. Heres a couple of the latest photos. Gonna use that plate in the middle to help form a gradual slope into the holds and maybe a little kicker in the back.

we spent a good amount of time trying to fit them as they came. It was a waste of time by the end of the day. The backing plates were not even mounted on the glass evenly. places that were supposed to wrap around and form good we eneded up having to cut off cause they still felt like mat/cloth without any resin. we ended up cutting a lot off so that we could make sure and mount the backing plates evenly on the ski and we will end up shaping a lot of foam. The stock exhaust pipe location didnt help our cause much either.
