I got railroaded by some rural wildlife officers who had nothing better to do, and now I know what it is like to be searched, handcuffed, and driven to the magistrate while wearing a dripping wet bathing suit. Good times.

Some people might risk to run without proper registration and or fire exting and that is going to be completely up to them. People with A/M hulls especially. I have never had a fire extinguisher in my current hull or in my old superjet because the stock location was deleted by a/m hood. I always ride from the ramp to whatever ride spot I'm going too with a backpack on with my registration and fire extinguisher inside. But once I get to the surf I ditch them on the beach.

This is the 6th time we've done this and to my knowledge I don't think anyone has gotten a ticket yet. Let's keep this going and if anyone risks not being legal when riding at least don't do anything dumb between riding from the camp area until you get out in the surf and keep your space from other boats if you happen to see a wildlife officer. (They are usually in center console Parker hulls with a single black diagonal stripe down the side of the hull.)

its all good, we're all going to do our magic surf dance this week lol. Remember this location is at an inlet so generally the waves are bigger than direct oceanfront locations like Daytona. I know for a fact that there is a bunch of new sandbars in the inlet kicking up waves from the dredging

This weekend is getting to be maddening. lol I gotta get my crap together.

If anyone is interested I have a great smoker I would be willing to bring and smoke ribs in. I can get about 20 racks in there. It takes 7 hours you pretty much set it and forget it so I wont miss out on any skiing. If we need one for the venue I also have one of those enclosed outdoor fire places about 40"x40"x40". A "rack" looks like this:

If anyone is interested I can pick up racks of ribs for anyone that wants one. They will cost me about $20 each including rub & cook fuel. I won't bring this big bitch for only myself. I am trying to gauge interest in advance. I will trust anyone who says they want some to pay me back at the venue unless I get told otherwise. :) So speak up or forever hold your piece.

The only caveat is getting this stuff out to the camp area. I will need help with that.

My registration ppwrk showed up today! Halleluja! I had the temp papers but there were no numbers at all so it would mean possibly getting pulled over every shift change!:eek: But no more! :D
