Cody thank god it did that much. It ran pretty good it's completely different then my last ski so I'm learning to ride it all over again which was weird. It's super short compared to my watercraft factory superjet. it felt like I was launching out of the water it was sweeeet lol the only issues I need address is my nozzle is way to long I need to cut it in half I think that will make a huge different. Also I think an intake grate will help to along with loosing about 50lbs haha. The cold water made it tough cause u could only ride so long before you got to cold. We can prolly make a few tuning changes not much it seemed pretty solid I just need more riding time now. The ski is awesome josh did a killer job

I was lucky enough to ride it and it ran almost as good as it looks! Amazing how stable and fun to ride these Phantoms are.

So after I had all these nicely power coated parts I couldn't justify putting them on this ugly 760 so I started scrubing and masking off the ports.

The hulk pretty much threw up everywhere lol I'm doing some motor upgrades soon and I'll have everything repainted so it's solid I just wanted it to look better then it did. I like it

Chopped 2" off the nozzle today at work. i think it's going to make a huge difference the nozzle was super long.




It came out pretty clean. The trim feels good with less weight on the end of the nozzle

I chopped my ride plate a little bit this morning at work. I haven't had enough ride time so I don't think I will be able to tell if it makes a difference. The bottom of thrust trim hits the end of the ride plate so I had to chopped some off



The end of the plate where I cut it off. You can see my hack job where I cut into the plate with a knife so the trim nozzle could clear for the first ride lol


Put it on the manual mill to cut it nice and flat. Took about .050 in .005 passes so it didn't chatter to much or chip off the edges of the gel



All done it stands up on its own so I guess it's flat enough

I noticed you turfed over your Ebox mounting screws, is that normal? I've seen some people put them through the turf, while others hide them under the turf.

You hide the 4 bolts under the turf because it looks alot cleaner and you don't need to remove them to take out your e box. The 4 threw botls that are under the turf are just for the bracket that the ebox mounts to.

What protec size did you buy? the one with an added 50mm or 30mm. I am about to order one of these for myself. And how did you like it before and after you cut off two inches?
