Do you have to buy the beach pass's this weekend to get 1/2 off or day of event? Is there refund policy if the weekend gets hurricaned out?

You can buy them anytime between this coming weekend and the weekend of the event. So anyone is welcome to wait to purchase till the week of or go ahead and get them.

Just curious as to what (if any) restroom facilities there are but, more importantly, will there be any water sources to flush skis with or will I need to pack some in?

Just before the entrance to the park there's a parking lot on the right with showers, hose fittings, and bathrooms. On the park there are porta potties.

Everyone if you need to take a shower in the evenings or before you head home on Sunday there are public showers and water spickets for flushing out your skis at the lifeguard station and public parking lot towards the end of Canal drive right before the entrance to Freeman Park. There's also much nicer restroom facilities there than the porta potties on freeman park for number 2's! lol

Porta potties should be used to get the full beach camping experience. Nothing like a 135° poop sauna with soggy toilet paper or better yet no toilet paper. Ask me how I know. It really opens and cleans out the pours.

Hey everyone I will be keeping tabs on the weather forecast and if there is still predicted heavy rain and wind Thursday through Saturday by tomorrow evening (over 60% chance) we are considering postponing this camping event till the following weekend the 8th-11th. Again no decision will be made until tomorrow as the forecast still has alot of uncertainty to it. There's just no sense in trying to camp on the point in high wind and rain and I don't want anyone to fork out money for a hotel as this is and always has been a camping freeride.

For anyone who already bought camping passes online all you have to do is call or email the town and they can change the date of the passes you bought to the following weekend. I will keep everyone posted!

I'm aware that the GA freeride is the following weekend and I apologize but I cannot predict the weather, we have been very fortunate to have awesome weather for the past few years.

ATTENTION EVERYONE!

I'm not going to hold off this announcement until tomorrow there's just too many factors pointing towards postponing the freeride till next weekend and I would rather go ahead and get the word out so those who can make it can plan accordingly! The freeride will now be postponed till the following weekend October 8th thru 11th! Please help me get the word out to everyone, tell your friends that are coming!

Every forecast i've been looking at throughout the day has gone from bad to worse. Their predicting over 6 inches of rain from Thursday to Saturday with 90% chance on thursday to 100% on friday and saturday with 15 to 20mph winds. This coupled with the fact that they are calling for coastal flooding again with hightened surf and erosion from the tropical storm offshore and higher than normal tides from the moon we may not even have a place to camp at all! The ocean will probably be a blown out washing machine as well.

The tropical storm looks to clear out the atmosphere for next weeks forecast and so far looks to be sunny and nice! And i'm sure any forecast is better than the one we are currently dealing with! I just can't see all of us standing out there trying to setup camp in the pouring rain with 15 to 20mph winds! Anyone that already purchased their access pass can get a full refund and then purchase one for the following weekend using the same exact promo code!

Call 1-866-330-7275 and tell them our event has been postponed till the next weekend due to inclement weather and that you need a refund.

Thanks for stepping up and making the call. Nobody wants to be the bearer of bad news, but I think it'll be much better next weekend. One more week to save money to blow!
