I have an extra Kart tank I can sell you for $50 shipped if you are interested in going that route.
I wouldnt want to grind that much on a brand new beautiful hull just to get that tank to fit in there. Even after getting it in there, it will always be a pain to get out and in and strapping it in will suck.

That's weird my new powerfactor didn't have that problem when I mocked up the exhaust I actually had quite a bit of space in between. I wonder what is causing this?

A 'sawed off' wave venture 760 coupler cover works well for this issue.Inserts upside down , unable to use factory grommet for coupler cover
