Just got mine all done. Test ride it later this week then off to wavedaze next week so I'll have a good report soon on it. The build went together so simple ( like most all Rickters ) I got it from Tc and he was great to deal with! If anyone is looking into a rickter hull I highly suggest the best guy in the business.

Ive had mine for 3 months now. Most important it is a tank. This hull will withstand serious surf abuse. It stays dry, zero water in the engine bay. I would highly recommend an upgrade of the stock scupper to OVP scupper made to fit rickter scupper tube.
Stock foodholds need a bit modification, cut and returf. The factory ones are made to destroy your toes..
The ski carves to the extreme. I would say this hull is for more advanced riders. You have to lean forward and push hard on turns or it will throw you sideways. Lenght of the ski is perfect for freeride. Fit and finish is top notch as you can expect from Rickter. Drive line and assembly are as close to OEM specs as it can get.

mines glass FS. it was 97lbs before i put anything on it. But it was with pole bracket, ninja holds, turf, hood hooks, pump seal, ect ect. The thing feels nice and strong even as a FS model. I got this hull to run down large boats in our area that toss out wakes bigger then average east coast surf, So i chose the slightly lighter FS. And i ride a combo of 50/50 Surf and baller boat chasing. I don't want this thing to crack in the surf so it is great having mass. With the hood on it and hood latch and a few more things it was only 107lbs. The FR is only about 10lbs more. Keep in mind these are durable surf hulls not flatwater hulls.( for the guys running the big motors you could FW flip it im sure. ) But the finish and factory quality feel like he said above is just amazing as well as how easy it just all went together. Like dmpus said everything is factory spec and they nailed it.

My friend has a Carbon one coming also so we can have spec's on that too soon.

.

Got to ride mine at wavedaze for the first time. It is by far the most versatile ski. I love it. It demands to be road aggressive yet you can just cruise on it. Reacts to aerials fast and nimble. But the carving is amazing.

After riding my Edge for a while now, I think adding front sponsons would improve the handling. It will allow front of the ski to stay more afloat when slashing the lip of the wave.
Note the photo, how the nose kinda digs under water. That ski is still one of the best surf skis there is imo..

I was talking to Brandon Lawlor at wavedaze, he was telling me that rickter modified the sponsons some on the newer hulls.

I just picked up my Edge today. the sponsons and rear bond rail have definitely been modified from the previous hulls

Here are the sponsons that are on my hull

Here are the sponsons that are on my buddies hull that was delivered back in March.

Should be interesting to compare the two

that is interesting, anything else different on the hull? can you get a picture of the two sponsons next to each other? I think there will be a different when you take them off as well.

you hull color looks sweet. Take a picture of the whole thing.
