The 16 has wider gunwales and the rear bolt on sponsored is different. All to make it more stable, and it is, what a fantastic handling ski. Rode a glass 701, and a hybrid with an 1100 both were awesome and took me zero time to get absolutely comfortable on!

Ok guys looking for some opinions before I drill more holes in her.
Im thinking of putting my 2 bypass outlets on the left front area opposite the bilge outlet.
Or the standard left side of the hull.
Im just running a b pipe
And for a bilge ive got the scupper of course and 1 500 rule along with the oem bilge. Thanks

I would do opposite your bilge. Wish he made a twin bypass fitting same size as the bilge fitting where you had 2 outlets inside and 2 outlets outside so you could still see the seperate streams.

They are great hulls. Quite maneuverable for the weight (I have an FR). Hull layup is super solid. The stock scupper certainly should be replaced with thrust (or similar ball-style) drain. The soft turf on the rails gets torn up pretty easily. That's about the only downfalls I've encountered.

I've got a 2nd hand 2015 Edge and it's the most solid ski I've seen. It is a carbon reinforced fiberglass build with sponsons put on at the factory. Rides great, tons of fun. I tore it apart at the beginning of the season expecting to returf and refurbish a few things but got busy with my other skis/kids and didn't finish it. I'll have it together this fall ready for Daytona again. Two other local friends have 2016's and haven't had any issues, both still really like them.

It's a ski I don't ever see myself selling.

Here is is pretty much stripped, polished, waxed, ready for turf and to reinstall the driveline.

Those that bought these. How many still has theirs? Any problems?

I own I believe the 2nd rickter edge imported in USA since end of 2014. Been trashing it in the surf since brand new. Hands down the strongest hull there is. Perfect fit and finish. Will take lawn darts, flops, pancakes, you name it like a champ. Its a pure surf weapon. It rails hard, its heavy and perfect for big surf or nasty chop salad, it will cut through it all. My personal opinion is this hull comes alive with bigger engine. Its too heavy and digs too much for small power. If you like idling around in the surf and occasionally hitting a wave then that heavy bish is not for you. She likes to be pushed hard, on the throttle at all times. Both front and rear sponsons are must. Stock scupper flap should be banned for life. Extra soft shock pad on top of the rock hard stock one is a must. Stock foot holds are toe murderers, require extra padding and a bit trimming. Front foothold made of underpading is great. Stock turf sucks.
