Well I've stayed up wayyy too late working on this and she's finished minus running fuel lines. I'm a fuel filter short so looks like I'll have to finished tomorrow after work. Tomorrow is going to suck!

I finished up all the tidily bits today. I hate how thrust barbs are at different angles. It would be so much easier it they were straight.

Had to replace the throttle cable. It felt smooth but when I hooked it up to my carbs it didn't want to return. I busted her off for the first time this afternoon and did a couple heat cycles. Man does it sound nasty! I cant wait to ride tomorrow.

Lake test went ok. No real issues. I think my pole could be a inch or 2 shorter. About 5 min into the first ride it bogged down. Brian told me to pull the screws on the billet filler on the tank and put a dab of right stuff in the hole and screw the screws back in. I guess some got pushed through the hole. It sucked it up and clogged one of the filters. Motor bogged and I shut it off and swam it in. A little carb cleaner and a tiny screw driver cleared the filter up enough where I could finish the day out. I think I need to go up a jet size on the main. I'm 2 turn out and the plug is just a light brown. I want it richer than that especially during the first couple tanks.

Water temp is mid 40s so it was a cold swim back in.

I got my carbs close to being tuned. I had to bump up to a 140 from a 135 main jet. I still might try a 142.5 and see what that does. I'm just over a turn out. I had a couple issues my first day riding at Daytona. The nozzle I had was an old carbon wrapped XScream nozzle. It was broke at the pump ears so @Yami-Rider welded it up for me after we stripped all the carbon off. It was super thin. Couldn't handle a love tap from the Daytona sand.

Thankfully @JetManiac is here to save the day with nozzles and tons of parts. So many people would be lost without him here. I had the buy the back fuel pump piece of the carb too. Some how on my brand new carbs the pulse nipple broke off.
