The time has come. I absolutely love my RIP, but I wanted a lighter hull so I figured nows the time to upgrade to my dream ski.

Carbon Weapon will be 30 lbs lighter, 5 inches longer, wider, redesigned bottom deck, chines and pump intake. Once it's in my hands I'll do some measurements compared to the RIP. From what I've heard from other owners is the ski recovers from tricks much easier and is more buoyant, making combos flow better. That was a huge selling point for me.

Ski was supposed to be done in two months, but it dragged on to 9 months. Once Jeff actually had time to work on it, it went quick. He sent me progress pics including some secret infusion pics just for my eyes only ;)

Build will be:
RRP billet lightweight pole with textreme pad
@Blue built PHP 898, pump gas for now, may go to race gas later depending on if I can idle flip it or not
Pfp ran wet
Novi 48s
Zeel 760 total loss
PUSH 155 mag pump
XS ls10 trim

Ski should show up Friday! IMG_20240614_202010.jpgIMG_20240614_201953.jpgIMG_20240618_135456.jpgIMG_20240618_140629.jpgIMG_20240618_140635.jpg

Built the PUSH. Kind of a pain to hold the stator level to drill your cooling holes but the threads came out mint. The clearance between the impeller and wear ring portion of stator is suuuuuuper tight!

Flywheel came from @speedysprocket today
Absolutely beautiful work! 2 Oz lighter than jetnetiics, for a fraction of the price. Yes it doesn't charge but can't complain! Apparently the new 62t zeel performs better, but I've been running this a02t for a few years with zero issues so I'm leaving well enough alone!!

This thing is an absolute work of art. The fit and finish is top notch. Gelcoat is perfect, turf is perfect. Anodized exhaust tube, tie down hooks, removable versiplugs with debri filters built in... My only gripe was the engine bay wasn't painted but Jeff said they don't paint carbon layup to save weight.
It is LIGHT!

Looks sweet. Can't wait to see the build come together
You and me both dude!
I could do 3 flips with an oem 155 and a 30 lb heavier, shorter much less buoyant hull.
Now with the mag pump and carbon hull we should start a poll on how many flips we think I can pull off on this thing.. Race gas is also an option..
