ok, could someone fill me in here? i'm trying to find out more about this high pressure fuel concept.i've googled smokey unic, and searched wikipedia and turned up nothing.was there a name for this concept?i'm not trying to be rude or sarcastic, but they had to call it something.or if x2 cartell would like to thoroughly explain this concept,i would be extremely interested.this sounds like a very complex machine with h2o2 injection and all, seems like it would be very heavy, but if you can get all this done and working in the next 3 months,go ahead just make it 4 and find a way to stick it in a superjet for fcuk sake.

This injection system works on principles that a man Named Smokey Unic came up with in the 50's. Many companies such as ford chevy lockheed martin are looking at or are actually using it. Unic's idea was to so pass fuel through a series of high pressure valves breaking down the fuel molecules, until it became totally vaporized. This inturn would be injected into the cylinders. Result, a slow even burn, 50% more horsepower, and 40% fuel conservation. He could never get this process down 100%, due to the lack of presicion contol(computer)....

I saw this on Horsepower TV car show a few months back. It was in a Fiero. Anyways he is right. The fuel was passed through a set of compressors under high pressure and heated to better atomize the fuel particles. Then sent into the engine. They said it made big HP numbers but never run right.

Check their website for the story on it if you can't find it anywhere else.

Saki,

is that a radial engine Chopper? That thing is sweet!

I have heard of Inconel... it is the next common super tough metal after stainless steel.

See a year and a half ago I took a course in college called Intermediate Mechanics of Materials.

There are all kinds of one off alloys of metal. But speaking of wallets... there is only so many cost effective metals to choose from.

Supply and demand....

ok, i get it now.the whole concept is just like this hot protien injection process that i do with my favorite stripper, where the charge enters the cylinder at a very high velocity.only i'm dealing with 1200 cc's here, and that saleen gets to swirling around, eyes rolling back in her head,:purr: and she starts talking about dual penetration with her inconel stimulater. its all i can do to just hang on. -and i cant get her to act right either.:frown:

not even pics of the hull or any of that. I think someones hunting for attention. The all-caps is getting really annoying too. You need to learn how to put things into laymens terms, as you and I both know that not everyone understands the technology of your space shuttle powered X2 put it's purely scientific form.

And then you make note 'look at these government complex projects'.

How can you not expect people to speculate you when you show up, make gigantic unheard of boasts, and then, when an 'educated' person would know that not everyone knows all the scientific terms. My guess is if your really smart enough to put that impressive vocabulary you would know this already.

If you've been racing and building for 20+ years, then who are you? Does anyone know you? If you've raced, built cool stuff, or the like I'm sure at least someone somewhere knows who you are, unless they keep you locked up at lockheed? I dunno, I was considering working at lockheed martin, but now I dont know.

Why did you just decide to release this information and not even post up anything tangible? You've been working on this for 5 years? And you appear to come on here, very rushed, very bold, like your about to die and need someone to hear of your work?

There's way too many questions in my head for me to even comprehend myself, and I'm sure the same goes for others in more or less words. Why now? Why not when its finished? Why? Why if your trying to get patents would you release this information? Huh? What?

You must understand, a jump this huge in technology is of course not without a multitude of sceptics and questions. Kinda like if aliens touched down in front of my house and I tried to tell everyone about it. Most people would blow me off.
