Five0......CBN for turning...and small bores.........If sharpend properly, Cobalt will cut inconel and other super alloys just fine! Far better than any carbide..Carbide is to hard.......it vibrates, then it chatters . Same concept that the the SWISS USE in the Diamond optics division...BELIEVE IT OR NOT THEY DRILL HOLES THROUGH DIAMOND WIHT NOTHING MORE THAN HSS DRILLS and OLIVE OIL....I can bury a 2 inch cobalt rougher E.M. 1 inch deep @155rpm@ 2.5 IPM in INVAR, INCO, Ti, Nitronic 50....does this make me a rocket scientist or a badass.......nope!!!! just many years of doing it. Cutting metal is like scooping ice cream from a bucket. You want the cutter to scoop out the metal not scrape it!. The second you scrape it....you work hardend it........then your S.O.L
:hail: your legit
:haha: :haha: :haha:
