WELL LETS BEGIN....I HAVE BEEN A TOOL AND DIE MAKER FOR LOCKHEED MARTIN FOR 15yrs. Working for a place of this magnitude offer accsess to state of the art 5 axis horizontals, VTL, JIG BORES, SURFACE GRINDERS, EDM, ELECTRO BEAM WELDERS, LATHES!!!!!

HERE IS HOW ITS DONE.......A very low estimate of 212 at 14,500rpm....THIS HP NUMBER WILL GROW!!!! (250+) SOLID 1 piece vacuum forged INCONNEL750X crank. 2 piece vacuum forged 7075 connecting rods, using radial polycrystaline boron nitride ceramic bearing. Crankcase is watercooled and stuffed, crank to case clearence is .003. Graphite 50H Stuffed Pistons. INCONNEL 718 sleeves, Inconell 625 rings. Taking cues from the P-51 Rolls Royce Merlin v-12, this cylinder uses 12 digital control water injection points. 72 .004 holes have been drilled into the piston crowns exiting behind the ring lans. High compression direct cylinder injection. 90% nitromethane 10% Hydrogen Peroxide over Silver Mesh

PUMP/ NOZZLE AND PIPE ARE DIGITALLY RPM CONTROLLED TO EXPAND AND CONTRACT. Like an afterburner of a modern military jet. COMPOSITE/Mercury filled drive shaft. Solid titanium pump using two impellers Push/Pull......ANDDDDD THERE IS OH SO MUCH MORE TO THIS SKI

And For all the People that make the wise cracks....I understand, but consider this, 1970's technology produces 20 million horse power through pumps and fans (Space Shuttle) SSME alternate turbo pump. As far as machine/motor/metal technologies, The AEROSPACE INDUSTRY leads these tech fields by 20+ yrs. Thats why B-2 bombers cost 2 billion each. Thats why the Space Shuttle is still the MOST COMPLEX MACHINE ever built.

1. what type of head girdle set-up will you be running if you are having high enough compression that you will be running a 90% nitro blend.
2.why build something so complex when you can get the same results from something far simpler?
3. skat trak alread makes a titanium pump
the duo prop is nothing new in the marine industry, volvo penta and mercury marine have been using them for a while
4. evinrude has been running HPDI on their outboards and they are a BRP subsidiary so you are running sea-poo based technology for fuel injection.
5. what type of ignition and fuel management system are you using? i would guess probably an msd based ignition and some sort of programmable fuel injection such as an Accel Gen VII DFI, or BigStuff3.
6. what size pump will you be running? pro open boats with over 1500 lbs. of thrust and 330+hp are running 160mm pumps.... how do you plan to overcome this aside from your variable nozzle technology, which also has been used in watercraft in the form of the wet wolf AAT system.

Although I am skeptical, I concede there are some amazing technologies out there and its probably possible. The reality is that no-one here can afford a million dollar X2.

Aw, man, and I was gonna make an aluminum driveshaft. Now that just seems so outdated... Where can I buy mercury? And muffler bearings?

You guys are all knocking him. WTF! Even if you think he is BS'ing you should atleast give him a chance. I'd like to hear the rest of all of this but if I was attacked on the threds and only had 2 posts I would not post anymore and not come back. It sounds corny but cant we all just chill a little bit on the new guy to the threds?

i asked some legitimate questions and when your first post is claiming to be the end all be all of X-2's, naturally people are going to give him a hard time

True that, but some people however cool they really are, asking questions is one thing but just saying BS and telling him it's imposible isnt really cool.
I yes have called someone out on here but that was to get results not ust to say something is impossible. It might be just me and a small few other people but if your making those kinds of rpm's and it's all geared twords hp I think that # is possible. Some people just dont want to stray away from what has worked for them in there skis.

That's what I'm saying. Give the guy a chance. If I were this guy I wouldn't even post anymore. Back when I first joined before I met people on the boards if everyone would have attacked me like this I would have said f@ck it and no longer visit the website. No offense, but personally I could careless if a bunch of people on the internet believed me or not.

They made significant advances in their fields when everyone at the time doubted them and thought they were crazy.

I love it when people come up with what seems like crazy ideas like superchargers on a 2 stroke, a nitromethane burning X2, etc. because that's what brings on advances in technology and ultimately leads to PROGRESS.

In my opinion it's the OUTSIDE THE BOX type of people that make it big in this world while everyone else is on the sidelines watching.:biggthumpup:

A 212 HP 650 does seem crazy to me:bigeyes:, but anything is possible. :biggrin:
