i think you couldve worked it a little smarter.

you ended up buying his friendship.... uh, i mean chinpad.

:haha:

didnt mark pay ant burgess thousands to ride the full throttle sj at WF? isnt he giving a pro rider a ski? isnt he giving away a bunch of other free stuff?

hes throwing around old money. thats all. get it while its there because im not sure what kind of business degree this guy has, but throwing money at everybody rarely yields a sucessful return from a business standpoint.

some people just have more money than sense.

Thanx for everything Chris,,met you about 5 or 6 years ago in Kentucky at a large ski event...You took the time out to tutor a lot of us on barrelrolls etc.
One thing I will always remember , there was a bad ski accident and you and several others where there for people...
Good luck in your future endeavors

He lost part of his leg, but did survive, possibly because the wetsuit reduced the internal bleeding. His passenger was hurt also but not as bad, and the other driver had a broken hip, ribs, etc and recovered.

(I was sponsored by the Polaris dealer whose mechanic was the 'other driver', so I was aware of all the lawsuits also)

That was a bad accident. It was the first ride I ever attended.... It scared me because there were a lot of couches at that ride and some were flying around corners that you couldn't see around and I wasn't very good on my ski yet. I was afraid of being hit the rest of that weekend.

Actually, Darin, the first roll I ever saw anyone do was you at that ride.... and then Smitty.

Didn't mean to bring all this up, just one thing I will always remember is all the folks helping these three people out and Chris was doing what he could..

I know I don't post here much these days, The yacht world is all good in this area..Keeps me busy,,do ride my 24/7 hood kit ski in West Bay now and then,,,no cops,,The DEA hides around the corner of our slips in their own little yard, but they are only around after dark....They have their own skis and aluminum hulled go-fast painted battle ship gray boats. Coast Guard floats in couple of times a week to say Hi...
I see 3 or 4 of the Coast Guard Folks on Kawi ZX's,1100?..Not sure cuz they leave them stock looking with no stickers or regs and they are sit-downs ,,so clueless stand-up rider me looking at an alien or 3..

Well, I went down to visit Mark this past weekend and everythign seems to be going good there. He had abunch of parts fresh out of the mold (Untrimmed) and the quality looked great. (right on par with Chris). Give the man a chance I think he will do well with it. He also hooked me up with a set of footholds for Sara's ski...

Also looks like he's going to give great rider support.
Something OUR sport is dieing for.
Theres not many companys offering that much support.
I personally do my best to ( buy friends ) I mean support the riders.
But it appears there's more help on the way......

OK, This has gone on long enough.................

While I made an offer for Mark to come clean, He has chosen not to respect the way I put forth to negotiate.

The Ban will remain fully in effect & is not negotiable.

I wish him well in his endevor.

ski ya, Paul
