I know the flush Jaz-style caps are kind of the industry standard, but they are just too much of a pain in the ass and a quality weak spot. I've tried several different manufacturers and haven't been impressed with one yet.

Good luck. Pay attention that cap is welded on. Your tank has had gas in it. I'll stand way back as you do it. Oh and not in my shop either lol.

They make a 6-bolt version as well that should swap out with the Jaz cap assembly.
