Yikes, hope your not planing on running that shorai battery in the salt!!!! It won't last 3 months!!!! I played hell with them, tried sealing them up but they are not sealed at all, I killed 4 in short order

well past 3 months already and doing fine.

Well you are doing better than I did... I did everything I could, siliconed up the charge port, siliconed around the terminals, talked to their tech support multiple times and they even admitted they make no attempt to seal them and for our type of use they are not recommended. I got a handful covered under warranty and then just got tired of them failing and went to a wps featherweight and have had zero problems

we'll see how long it lasts. so far so good. Sealed it up the best I could. I have a WPS in the blaster that I have had zero issues with in 1.5 years of use. Couldn't pass up the deal I got on the shorai. Free Fiddy Free.

I just got a chance to check out my tank, and this thing is insane! The level of quality is top notch, and I work with professional fab guys all day.

Now the downside, it doesn't fit too well in a WDK ROK hull. I will need to grind the fuel tank strap inserts out of the hull, and relocate them closer to the engine. a little bit of effort, but well worth it for this thing!
