I believe oem battery straps work for the battery, the 2 front straps need straps about 12" unstretched and the left rear strap uses the 12" with a know( 9" would be perfect), the right rear strap is a short strap that I think was OEM on SN tool kit? I double these short ones up because I have had the strap fail twice

I use two battery straps (no knots I think) on the front of the tank, and one battery strap with 1-2 knots on rear exhaust side. Then one battery strap over the battery down to one of the two hooks near the bottom, then one battery strap over the battery and down to the hull with no knots. It worked out well all last season for me.

All tanks from this batch have been sold and shipped, thanks guys! If you have any issues or questions please hit me up.

The extra few fittings and small brass valve that I included is a tank vent that you can T into the check valve line to easily release the tank pressure. Depending on how your much pressure builds up in you system, it can make removing the large cap difficult. Just crack open the valve and let the pressure bleed off first!

There has been a few people ask for tanks, but so far I've only got about 3 on the list; I would need around 10 before I make another batch. I've got another project in the works and a part time job (in addition to my full time job) as well, so I'm kinda strapped for time right now.

I am REALLY interested in one of these for my FX-1 with a B-pipe. I have read the thread (admittedly not all 17 pages) checking to see if it would fit and searched as well. I checked the dimensions provided (12.5" from front lip to front of motor etc) and it SEEMS like it should fit. Can you comment on whether or not this would fit in a stock Yamaha FX-1 hull? Thanks! These things look perfect BTW.
