440 in the Ocean????

I'm going to the oregon coast in sept and have a 440 with a few mods...(Ive rode a SN superjet there) and was wondering if any of you have rode a 440 in the ocean and how it was. Did yu get tossed like a tin can or was it fine?

Haha sweeet! Ya i might have SJ option, but its kind of a sh*tter...I kno my 440 is totally reliable and dont wanna have a bum ski out in the middle of the ocean!

dielectric (silicon grease) any hardware, parts store will have this.

yes i have and yes you'll get tossed a lot! still fun though make sure you have a bilge pump.

IMO rapids are harder to ride than surf, most of the time you don't have to worry about hitting a giant rock on the beach.
