Ok so what the verdict on this switch? Any more feedback? I like the $5 thing? I think it'd be great to mount under the chin pad as mentioned above?

Anyone else buy one?:reporter:

It was only posted last week, I doubt anyone has it yet.

My personal opinion: I've had 2 different batteries killed by a bad bilge switch, one of which was an Odyssey, so I'll spend the extra $20 or so to get a good switch (I use the rotary Blowsion sells) to hopefully save my battery.

I hope it works. I have a rotary type switch mounted on the front of the tray. I let someone ride it. He lost his balance and kicked the switch and broke the knob clean off. It was a $35 that went down the drain. All I got for giving him a free ride, was "Sorry Man". So I like what I am reading here. This might work.

I have the older style 24/7 Millenium hood, the air intakes cover the switch/primer completely.

does it click in and stay on? or do you need to hold it the entire time?

i bought this and another style from the same company. i received them only a day or two later. they both click and stay on , you dont have to hold it. it's actually smaller than it looks. i will take some actual photos of them and post them when i get a chance. will be installing one of them this week.

I'm interested in seeing how this looks/holds up...:wall:

I've been using the switch JSS sells (which I guess is a McMaster switch), that cost under $20.
Its been holding up in fresh and salt for 2 or 3 years now.
