That crystal clear epoxy resin is meant to seal wood counter tops.. Not sure how it's gonna work for adhesion on a ski. I guess go ahead and give it a shot! It's not gonna be easy to make carbon and kevlar straight and need. It's been recommended to put masking tape over the line you'll be cutting out since it's easy to fray. Make sure your scissors is sharp! Here's mine by the way! Wrapping the bottom with carbon fiber/blue Kevlar today!
While on the topic of resins, what brands are recommended? Is the US composites thin epoxy appropriate for most builds or is westsystems or something else the way to go?That crystal clear epoxy resin is meant to seal wood counter tops.. Alot of people use us composites because it's very reasonable. That's all I've used for reinforcing, footholds, and all ski related builds. I use the 3 to 1 medium speed system and it hasn't let me down yet. While on the topic of resins, what brands are recommended?
