66e...Who's running them?

What is everyone running for carbs? I picked up a 66e and am in the process of getting everything together. I'm trying to keep this on a pretty tight budget and have been doing very well. The last piece of the puzzle is carbs and I can't seem to make a decision. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would do a 48mm carb. I have been hearing that these motor really like the bigger carbs, so much so that just a basic carb swap on a stock 800 pick up some hp. There is even talk that the 1200 needs even larger carbs than the full spec 49's.........that might be in the works as well :smokin:

I would imagine that full specs would be the best? If I don't want to pony up for them would a set of SRE 48's be sufficient or novis? I know oxnard has a set of 48 full specs but that would double the amount of money I have into this whole setup so far. Thanks again for any advice that you're willing to give me.

I am running 48mm riva Powerbombs...They are very afordable and I can prob get you very close on jetting based on what I have done already. They are basically Full Spec copies I have been told.

I achually prefer the 48 powerbombs over the full specs. I have run them both and did not really notice a difference.

Sorry to hear that.
I've been there, and it's never fun.

I'd be interested if I didn't already have a Jetworks BigBore just about in my hands.
