I have the same ski. Here's my specs.
year 2000 62T case and 61X cylinder. No case porting, no cylinder porting, no boring. OEM Crank and Pistons. Cold-Fusion billit half girdle head with 35cc domes puts me at 180 pounds of compression.
Limited Factory B-Pipe with a Factory Pipe Waterbox and a Jet Works Flow Control valve. Single 44 Black Jack Carb ontop of a single ATP billet intake manifold with carbon VForce 2 reeds.
Stock lightened flywheel with 62T electronics and a MSD Enhancer. Cold-Fusion billet kawi style lightened couplers, Cold-Fusion Billet midshaft and a Billet Skat-Trak 145 magnum pump with a 9/15 prop and a protec slightly bored exit nozzle.
The pump is the key player in this whole set up. It takes all the power this "limited" set up makes and puts it's all to the water. I want reliability and this set up is great for that and because we have big waves I can get away with a smaller HP motor compared to the rest of the motors out there. I also like to ride full throttle when I hit waves to do tricks and it's nice to have confidence pulling the throttle wide open and knowing I'm not going to kill myself like if I had a big powervalve motor and having to be afraid of giving too much gas and getting into trouble.
But the biggest question is. Is yours for surf?
