Yeh i know the pipe isnt to flash... will get my ski going untill i find one @ a decent price.. Is there going to be a seriously notable difference if i go a B-pipe or blaster limited, i figure there will be but to what degree.. J

night and day difference imo.

had the westcoast on a modded 650 motor, installed the f.p. with a mod chamber, totally different animal..

trick lookin hot coat parts man... i like it..

did you lose your hood once before? ive never seen anyone strap theres down before..

Wow, nice pump upgrade you did there!!!! Does that take any special modification to the hull?

Not to much, have to get a pump shoe from a doner 750sx or sxi (maybe you can get them new) then you have to muck around to get that to fit then glass or glue it in..

You have to modify your x-2 ride plate and shorten you 750sx or sxi scoop grate (or you can mod a standard 650 one i guess) but its easer to shorten a 750 one.. then you can either silicolon the whole pump in or you can build up the serounding part of the pump with glass filler and use the rubber pump seal, if you dont think you will remove it again id go with silicon.

The hood locks on x2 are shiza or on any ski really (clips have come undone yes).. If your jumping waves you would be silly not to have additional hood straps. Not to mention if you are doing stabs or subs or rolls there is allot of presure on tha hood.

yeah i agree... i rock 4 hood hooks

Thats what i origionaly was going to do (even bought more hood locks) but i thought into it further, The hood has allot of flex and can often jump off the locks (when landing on it side) even with the latch locked... I figued if it can jump off with 2 then it could jump off with 4, so i thought a strap that adds support to the front as well as the back would be best....

Philipcyde works ok it seems? trick looking ski.

Thanks. It does shift a little side to side. But I'm not worried at all about it coming off. I located the front hooks down low so they pull real tight. I think your straps are pretty much the safest thing I've seen though.

The only thing that would keep my hood on was some major reinforcement on the back side to strengthen the hood, and two heavy duty straps crossing from corer to corner with stainless hardware. I eventually quite using the hood latches all together and only used the straps. Only way to go IMO.

x-2guy Hood kit and new trim cable on its way... also bought a thrust innovation SJ adaptor so i can run a standard SJ airbox..... NO MORE WATER BOGGING DOWN MY SKI!!!!

Pre filters are a complete waste of money BTW, i hightly recomend never trying them..

OH and the new pump ;) what can i say!!!
