9/15 with 148 setback pump no bottom end

I know it could be a number of things causing this, but I have a 9/15 pitched impeller with a team scream 828cc, b-pipe, and a 148 setback pump but my bottom end is nowhere to be found. Any advice would be appreciated. starting to think it's the pitch of my impeller. Its in a 50 cal footrocket.

Thanks

yeah, the bottom end on my 701 is better than this ski right now. Has to be the impeller or the tuning on the motor.

I had a similar problem and it was my pump seal. I got a flash light and shined from inside of pump and could see the light shinning from in between the shoe and seal

sounds like cavitation to me too. I haven't seen to many good reviews about Krash's pump install process. Thats where I'd look for issues first.

Might be a dumb question but are you positive it's a 148prop? See how much daylight you can see through the prop to wear ring gap. I have a stock 701 with a b pipe right now as I'm waiting for my new motor to get done and it hits HARD with the kavinci pump and 7-14

Does it seem like the motor is revving out? If it's not it's probably not the pump

Well I'm 2 for 2 on friends motors finding a broken reed petal on their vforces so start there lol

Thinking I need a 7/14. It came with an 11/16 which i didnt even attempt to run, impros told me to buy a 9/15, now they're telling me to buy a 7/14. It was a freshly rebuilt motor from a trusted friend, the motor is perfectly fine.

Wait, you said it came with an 11/16 prop. But what kind of prop. Prop Pitches from Skat to Solas to IMPROS are not equal. That 11/16 may be perfect for you. that 9/15 may be off. I run a 9.5/15.5 IMPROS Hooker, use to run a 10/16 Hooker with a 83mm ported 61x. I felt the 9/15 might be to short for me. I split the difference.

Reduction nozzle bore plays a huge roll in getting the bigger pumps to work with smaller engines. Without the nozzle bored out it could be loading the the engine too soon and not allowing it to rev out

or your 9/15 may be to small and you are spinning it. try the 11/16. But work out your other issues first. I just got my ski running after almost 2 years, I had one problem masking another than made it impossible to figure out.
