Does things to makes the do goods
Oh damn, yeah it might be bog from being overpropped like youre sayin. Fcv and popoff are easy to mess with compared to pulling prop for repitch. I dont wana steer u in wrong direction tho

the b pipe can produce funny spray patterns depending on the age of the head pipe. there is a thread on here somewhere about tuning the spray pattern by taking the head pipe off and hooking it to the hose so you can see the actual spray stream and turn the screw in until its a nice pattern. The 148 would make more cooling line pressure and may be causing to much water to spray in on the previous setting. Some have reported screws spraying even completely closed.

i'm not sure, the previous owner of the motor had left his carb adjustments for years and had no issues. Only difference now is a bigger pump/different prop pitch
Does the engine sound clean when you are cruising around or does it sputter? Should be fourcycling a little at 1/4 throttle. Increasing the pump load makes the carb settings leaner.

It's still too rich. I have my high and low speed screws a half a turn out now. I need to rejet it. Screwing them in from 1.5 turns out really helped but it's still rich.
