Hello everyone, I'm new here and this is my first post. I want to say thank you because this form has been very helpful in restoring a 1995 SuperJet I recently picked up (my first standup). Anyways I plan on installing a bilge pump next week and while I have the motor out I figure I could replace the pistons as well. Currently its running an even compression of 125. The motor is all stock and I have not ridden it yet but it does run. I'm hoping to get the opinion of more knowledgeable people than myself. So at 125 on both cylinders would a top end rebuild be recommended? If so would this be the correct rebuild kit (link at the bottom of my post) if not would anyone have any recommendations on a rebuild kit? I just have two more kind of off topic questions. I ordered a new nose cover that came primed and i would like to try and match it to the stock white paint as closely as possible. I have been unable to find any color codes or any information at all really about shade of the stock white paint. If anyone has any information on that I would really appreciate it. Lastly I would like to ask about that battery ventilator contraption that comes out of the hull at the base of the pole Is that something I can take off with a maintenance free battery? I haven't done any research on it yet and sorry if that has come up on here before but since I'm posting I figured I might as well ask quick. Thank you!
