Well the 951 will have more power then anything they put in 4stroke. A 951 SXR is insane, I was thinking about it but I dont like where the carbs are located on that motor.

you wouldnt need a bilge pump-
any water in the hull would get promptly sucked up my the motor:ugh2:
you could probably make a snorkel for it if you were ingenious:naughty:

They have a snorkel set up from the factory,can you use that or will it not fit in the hull?.If it won't you damn sho better come up with something because the 951 makes an excellent wet vac if the intakes are anywhere near water and water in a 951=death.

I'm waiting to see if Kawasaki step ups and makes a 4 stoke HS killer.
But in the meen time I'll keep my 2smokes

You would think they would just put a drain plug and a removable threaded cap out of aluminum under the bottom of the skis,so you could pull the cap ,pull the plug and drain the crappy oil-water milkshake out,yes I know that would be too simple,my bad.

I think a 951 in a 66lb Trinity hull with some wings, and you could fly it around the buoy course. :biggrin:

Fug a four stoke in a standup. After it ingests water, you may as well burn the thing.

I just blew my motor apart with some water ingestion.....burp!!! I'm going 951 seado for sure, motor is on it's way now, i've sold all my Kawi stuff. I didn't want to sink 3k back into the Kawi motor. It's gonna rip. I need to go through the ski again and think about making it even lighter since the 951 is a bit heavier than the kawi motor.

Sucks to hear about your kawi motor but the 951 sounds like a sick set up. I have heard about a few racers and shop bulding them.
What are your plans for the swap?
