do like all silver/grey with lines to look like steel panels airbrushed circles for ribbits and the u.s. navy/ airforce sign with the star in the middle and the wing type thing on the side. thats what i wanted to do at one point

i'm going flat, light army green next time around.
I am all about bright paint jobs! It is nice to be visible in the surf.
so...mabye bright orange?...orange bottom deck too or black bottom deck?..idk i cant decide...im thinking orange all the way and then white on the bottom?
i might try to spray it myself...
I would do the black side walls and white bottom... w/ the top deck all one color
like yours only orange instead of yellow?
and keep the pole black?
that would be sick..... keeping the bottom white just keeps the ski looking cleaner on bottom pics and so on... overall cleaner look... Black would look awsome as an ofsett to the Orange... Get some big bass boat flake for that beeeeeoootch too... BLing Bling...
for sure...is the bass flake hard to lay down?...did you paint your ski?
also what do you guys think about reinforcment?..its already got at least two layers but it was cut around the ribs the bondrail was filled already as well.im thinking one layer of carbon on the sides and two in the nose?..or a layer of fiberglass and then a layer of carbon?..overkill?
I usually put more than I need... I did 3 layers of carbon on the sides and really thick fiberglass on the bottom for flat landings... Nose, I would do 3 layers too...
Make sure you do the bottom good...
i did some heavy carbon and glass reinforcing on the bottom too. i'm about 5-6 layers of glass and 2-3 layers of carbon into the bottom of mine. i did that after seeing the pics of pancaker's hull broken. it was my mission to learn backies on this hull, so i figured i'd be giving it some bottom-beatings.
it's a battle tank, no doubt. fl-cracker's worst nightmare come true.
i've beat up enough hulls in my time. i really don't want to buy another RN hull any time soon. this boat is just fine for surf. she's plenty alright.
I have laid glass on the bottom on my Square. Not for structure though..... I simply didn't want to fill in all the damn grooves and deep scratches, so I put down some thickened epoxy, then glass, and then some more thickened epoxy.
