Here's a common item that people buy, so let's get some insight on why it's so popular and your personal experiences with it!

havent used one, but im guessing cost is the first pick. its less then the ATP head from what ive seen, and is a reliable solution to a high comp head with changeable domes.

Interchangeable domes, girdle kit to stop your cylinder from cracking, good cooling, proven product with a great track record. Make sure to torque properly.

Just buy one you won't be sorry.

The only improvement I could see being made is a girdle stud setup similar to the Blowsion/Speedwerx/other that holds the cylinder down to the cases when the head is unbolted (this might negate the benefit of a girdle kit however?). Also the acorn nuts that go on the girdle studs leave a little to be desired. Other than that, this is the industry standard, beware of imitation/knockoff products.

Jetmaniac and Jetworks sell them so they must be good? I bought two but haven't gotten around to installing them yet.

Oh I know for a fact they're good. Otherwise they wouldn't be so hyped up. I'm just interested to see what everyone else knows/thinks about them. Compared to other girdled heads, etc. I'd be buying one right now if I had the money, but this thread will be for everyone's benefit, not just me :)

I finally got around to installing one of them (used with less then 10hrs of use) and two of the acorn nuts where badly rusted onto the studs. Had to use Kroil, vice grips, and a big wrench to get them off... I thought it kind of odd since stainless doesn't rust.

I bought it from a reputable member who I think is an ADA dealer. So 99% sure it's real.

This is after they soaked over night in kroil:

The acorn nuts arent SS. Did you install them dry without grease or antiseize?

Did you use the acron nuts to install the studs into the cases?

ADA are the most popular because they are one of the only ones still being made except for some new brands that have came out. all old brand heads are getting hard to find domes for, so if you buy and older brand, you may not get replacement parts. most of the new brands are quite a bit more expensive initially and for replacement parts. ADA heads do wear out. the head shell wears where the top of the domes contact it. then the dome fits loose and it blows o rings and the dome spins when you try and remove the plugs. you dont have to use the long bolt girdle kit, its just the most simple and cheap design. you can use the elaborate girdle kit that torques the cylinder and the head seperatly.
