I got to work on the ski a bit tonight after work, did a lot of grinding and fitting of the ride plate, also picked up some clean bolts. its a bi$ch keeping the threads clean, and working around the bolts. Then mixed up some Epoxy thickened with 407, hope to prime it this weekend and then paint. I still need to layup another plate or two also. Probably doesn't look like much but this took like four hours!

Next time fill bolt holes with clay, this will keep your thread clean, then clean the clay out with a tap when your done. Lookin good btw.

You can wax the bolts too and thread them in.

Thanks guys, I won't be making it to wavedaze unfortunately my wires birthday is that Friday, and a good buddy's bachelor party on sat. Are there any other freerides on the east that have surf? I have friends in Gulf shores Alabama, I been meaning to make a trip there with skis, anyone ride surf near there?
