Nikasal is awesome porting specs are pretty close to what a well set up two stroke would run anyway. I wouldn't think there will be much changing of port heights

Just interested in one. It's the only cylinder that's actually got me excited, the billet ones while a thing of beauty were a fairly large step back in development

The gp800 had individual cylinders and i think the others did too because of the price is less to buy on than all of them in one.

Think about this too. With a standard steel sleeve if you stick it, throw a rod and crack the sleeve, or just run out of bores you are stuck with having to buy a new sleeve, installing it, and having it completely RE-PORTED by your engine builder$$$$. With Nic. if you blow it up bad, just send it to Millennium and they will weld it up and re plate it. saving that important port work. Also, you will NEVER have to deal with dropping sleeves on a Nic cylinder.... Or rust!

hmmmmmm

Its so ironic all these tech questions are finally coming out in this thread,Ive answered the question Joe just did many times on facebook..Dont hear the vid ? much but that really isnt gonna telll you much. Top 5 Most freq asked question...
1st Why didnt you make it from billet since everyone else does? Im not even going there with that one!
2nd question, why didnt you use sleeves with it? isnt nik way more expensive? best answer is above..
3rd question...id like to see pics of underside ports? Its really no big secret,we had the cylinder by itself out for show at 2 wavedaze events and Tona also.So yes its the first time this type cylinder with these type ports built into a dual cylinder has ever been used on a yami, its new, most anything new is scary and questioned around here, but it works.

4th question..does the SS make real power,Best way is to judge for yourself and come to wavedaze and demo one,or wait till others do that are bias.Id personally never buy a hull or motor id never demoed..
.5th question If cast is better than other motors why does it cost less? When we first started to put this project together the main focus and goal was to make big power very affordable to the average rider with a SS motor done very diff, with out the need for big $ stroker crank,or high maintenance big compression & timing setup... to break outa the norm and do something "new" As a result individual sales Margins are less important than forward thinking to mass market for a product with high demand that puts big smiles on alot of otherwise 701 for life faces..Its just a business plan...will it work out? Who knows ?...Demos at Wavedaze will prolly be the answer...

My main question is, if i buy the stock stroker kit, and drop it into 701 61x(bored 1.75 over but i guess that doesnt matter) square with semi ease and go rip? Or is there major mods i needed and work done, if so, then what? Either way, how much will it cost me Done??? I believe you said its 62T only so im unsure because theres 23 pages haha. Im a kid who dreams of backflips, im buying a built to the bone square next weekend even has flip trim, so this raises my curiosity what i can do to it to backflip flatwater.

Maybe also explain a bit more how this engine works to create all this power (power valve) because im barely hanging on to grasp it.

HUGE THANKS!!!!! STOKED FOR ANSWERS!!

Both cylinder kits will cost $2295.00 plus it will need the 62t or 64x cases modified which will cost for the stock stroke $325.00 for a total of $2620.00 I am working on the website and hopefully that will help explain. 61x cases will not flow to enough to let this clinder work. With all the posts on this thread it takes a lot of reading to sift through to find some answers so I guess I will be reposting certain answers, no problem- it comes with the territory. The cylinders was designed to make power by 1. having big displacement, 2. having the flow capable to supply its displacement. Flow comes not only in the unique transfer design but in the exhaust as well. Power valves are only part on the equation. Sorry if its not a deep technical answer but it would be pages of typing to explain it and even then it doesnt' mean I'd do that well.

Thanks those are what i needed. Few more for you though. What work will need to be done, who does thar modifying work, you guys? and what work will need to be done for the 10mil and how much will it cost me done dropped in my ski? Also if i have the 61x what will i need to buy to run this, so u guys can set me up? A whole 62T engine, or cases or what exactly? Im mainly curious what it will cost me from my 61x now to a finished stock stroke and 10 mil done (so buying the 62t parts or engine i needed as well). Will both setupa get me flatwater AIR ready on my square? haha sorry for all my questions appreciate the answers. They help alot. Im sure for others as well
