Game changer for sure......we just sent one off to Australia to make an appearance at Rip N Ride. Erik is going to be a busy man judging by all the email coming in. next stop Brigantine!! See if you can get Zimmy off his ski to try it out =)
I rode one of these motors in Lehrs carbon freak yesterday. Wow.... he said he didn't even touch the ports or anything. Running a 144 mag, dual full specs, 185lbs compression, pump gas, and stock stroke.... wow is all I could say. Mad props.
it all comes down to performance and price point.. make power...be more affordable than the competition...check,check. Wavedaze should be interesting this yr after 4 yrs of rainbows and unicorns, lol
Good things come to those who wait, I understand. But that was kind of a vague answer. I'm sure there's a lot of riders and builders interested in that question. But I can wait...
I'm also curious as to what can be achieved with just 200 psi, tl, pfp etc... Very curious actually
I'm def interested in a SS pretty soon. Just have to keep my ducks in a row and under control.
Thanks for everything you're doing and keep up the good work fellas!
I like this cylinder but has anyone ever put all of the aftermarket engines on a dyno so you can see what each engine does ?
This one get's the most points by me for the exhaust and the way the flow goes. Everyone makes great power but it's all about the talk at this point, correct me if i am wrong
If someone just puts some engines on the dyno ( a company like blowsion has the $ to do it. Then you can compare money VS power e.c.
Hah! I'm surprised they don't have the word "dyno" bleeped out like my many other favorite words. People don't believe dyno numbers have anything to do with anything around here, despite what torque curves and peak hp locations could tell you. It's a conspiracy I tell ya...
In before "DYNO NUMBERS MEAN NOTHING, YOU CAN ONLY DETERMINE POWER BY HOW HARD IT "HITS""
Guys I'm telling you. The 10 mil I saw the other day will blow your mind. I've never seen or heard a ski fly and land like that. The crazy thing is there still tweaking it.
a whole lot! Haha, it was built to survive my riding, and it has done extremely well in the past few years!
The power this motor is making is definitely not all talk! The 964 is a beast, I can only imagine how nasty the 1100 will be....:brap:
One comment from a test ride in NY came back with, "Well, I was thinking about buying the 1100, but after feeling how much power that has, I'll just take the 964..."
Zimmy's boat is built to handle his riding style "GO BIG OR CRASH" and so it must be strong. His boat is not the best power to weight ratio blaster out there, but it does feel quick and nimble with the 964. I love that boat in the surf, its awesome! I have a blaster already cut to build but no time yet.
It will prolly never happen, but it would deff be interesting to see if all the contenders would send a long block to be run at the same time with the same bolt ons, they could even take the hp numbers off the scale if it made them feel better for the price they charge for a motor setup.all we need to see is power curves on the same chart relevant to rpm and each brand represented with their own color
