Freestyle Affordable Power......... It's COMING

Yup, definitely wasn't running a DASA, saw a TPE cylinder in there with my own eyes.

riding the tp 10 mill non pv in phils superfreak after riding it with a similar dasa motor with no other changes, there was no comparison,if the tp had pv on it I dont think the prev dasa would have had crying chance against it. experience will make believers in these type high flow cast cylinders very soon, it will be interesting to see just how many cc you need to perform with this type of flow.

have to have no other changes to drive back to va on the 26th, pull the motor and put the new one in to test 6 days later and it be perfect :p either way, i've tried to get one for a year and a half. they had a s/s one down south today, interested in hearing how it went.

it was far from perfect with no valves and very lil tuning, but it was still crazy nasty on the pfp and tl. It will be very interesting to hear how the boyz down south do with this setup......

rode my new TP today at at our local lake and I was totally impressed with this motor. :Banane01:

I a bit of fine tuning to do with my prop and carbs but overall the performance was outstandinglauren's birthday at ida.jpg

Its understandable that you would want to get your hands on a cylinder asap because you know for a fact that thing is getting ready to blow the rest of the market away (especially since most people know you have a vested interest in seeing this project fail $$).
Just about every post you put out in this thread is trying to derail or bash the operations, design or anticipation of what's being done. If you haven't put the time into developing your own cylinder with your vast knowledge, go find some other section to harass.

It is what it is man, this makes power, and its affordable! All the poor recreational riders like myself can breathe a sigh of relief now that we can get our hands on NEW parts without breaking the bank. Time to see the sport REALLY grow :)

Breaking the bank? I've supported erik from when he first Told me. I wanted to try this so I could see for myself. No other reason. Vested interest? Please. I only support dasa because i hate xmetal. Personally x metal and eme12's make the power, but when you can't get the parts and the owners lie to you it doesn't matter how much power they make. You support the guy who supports you. I never wanted to see this project fail. I was stoked to see 1900 dollar top end kit come out. Well 2500 now. I've just merely pointed out that it's not that much cheaper then a dasa. Also the only two motors I've seen pictures of are running dasa powervalve tops :p

Dammit, the secret is out, this whole time js/js wanted to see the bottom of the cylinder and the secret was hiding in plain site. DASA powervalve Tops make all the power!!! (nevermind the first video where there weren't any powervalves at all) Scrap the project Erik, secret is out. And oh ya, Nikasil will never work!

You guys are like the current government administration haha. Let it do what its going to do. It'd be nice if this motor would replace the 8-10k motors we use now.

Yes, its true, the couple of engines out there have DASA caps on them, but thats because mine haven't been anodized yet. I bought and paid for the DASA caps (at full retail). I am making my own now, I have enough and they look a little different. There are two little design changes incorporated into my caps, no big deal but since I was making my own I would do what I thought would work for my engine. The next run I will play with the design a little more, just for the visual aspect. As far as cost goes, well because of the volume and custom work, jigs, sourcing of parts I had no choice but to adjust the price to get the cylinder HOW I WANTED IT, and not what I could just put out there. This cylinder design is much more technically involved to cast than you think, it is much more involved than what I was trying before but worth it. The machining of this cylinder is also very technical but a five axis makes it easier if you expect to keep tight tolerances. It’d be easier to make a so so casting with an inferior design but then you'll spend many man hours to bring it into a working state. I still believe that for the power that this design puts out you'll be hard pressed to find a better deal, and thats what its all about, how much power for how much money!! I'm sorry for it taking so long, probably should have held off announcing its coming but that was the title of this thread. I can’t make this happen any faster but it is happening. This is the first of several things to come. Honestly there are only a few who can understand what its like to produce your own product, put it out on the market, have everyone critique it, and not lose your mind. You have to go through it to understand. I will let the engine speak for itself.
Thank you,
Erik Brigham
