Freestyle Affordable Power......... It's COMING

Is anyone else running one of these outside of the TP test skis yet??

Yup, I am running one right now! Very pleased with the result! We are still fine tuning the carbs and the pump setup, but from what I have to date, this setup is AWESOME!

I will have my setup at both the NJ ride and the WaveDaze 2.0 ride if anyone wants to give it a shot!

Stopped by Erik's to grab my ski, proof that the TPE 964 is in full production!

This pic deserves enlarged...

Paul Lehr will be in a few days. I got to speak with Calvin today, the 10mm's heads are being machined and the cylinders are right behind them. The two on the end are already nik'ed and are going to Cedric next week. I am working on getting 12 finished so as I can send them off to get nik'd, those are on the work bench thats not in the pic.

I have ridden this setup and can say it truly is awesome. Especially considering its 180 compression, pump gas and stock electronics with an MSD enhancer. Can't wait to get one, hits hard!

This cylinder design is much more technically involved to cast than you think, it is much more involved than what I was trying before but worth it. The machining of this cylinder is also very technical but a five axis makes it easier if you expect to keep tight tolerances. It’d be easier to make a so so casting with an inferior design but then you'll spend many man hours to bring it into a working state. I still believe that for the power that this design puts out you'll be hard pressed to find a better deal.
Thank you,
Erik Brigham

Can you tell me the exact aluminum alloy casting material used, and the machinability / stability of the alloy? How is the thermal transfer of the Aluminum / Nicasil cylinder compared to a conventional Billet cylinder with cast iron sleeves? Will the increased thermal capabilities of the cylinder equate into more horsepower? I really like the design, and your information is very helpful.

I got one in my carbon vision. I finally got my 48 full specs dialed in and I "love" this motor. The torque is unreal for a stock crank. Erik has been super supportive in getting the motor dialed in
I can't wait to try the 1100 beast !
Btw,I pulled the head off to inspect after about 10 tanks and it looked brand new still

Works great with a b-pipe! Yes, dual 46's are the minimum I would run. Hey Weber guy, it's good seeing that you still lurking around.
