Will see what happens, I'm going to give it some real thought. I spent a lot of time & money putting this ski together. I just now got the xs1000 set up dialed in.

I still haven't moved it from my hangar to the house since Mcdogs lake ride.

I should have kept my LPW or Willy Ski.... Oh well it maybe time to build something new.... Maybe a flatwater ski & put a SS or something in my Rickter.

uh O and there it is.......

Im with you, should have never sold ole lpw and the ada. its quite a diff experience trying to ride a 1000 cc light hull around in the ocean for a few hours, than a heavy reinforced SJ with a limited setup or even a small stroker ehhh

Its not the power of the XS1000 , I really enjoy having that hit. Don't get me wrong this ski is perfect the way it is..... But when your riding around in the ocean & your motor package is 14K, 9K hull, plus all the other stuff you don't take those chances. My ski has never been swamped, I would say I can count my big bails off this ski on one hand, lol .....

Now my LPW or Willy ski i rode the sh*t out of those ski's.... Never cared or even thought about swamping, sinking, bailing, or trying something new....

Idok I can't wait to try your ski out, I might do some swapin & build a flatwater ski with my xs1000.

I hear ya, My ski has been pretty clean, but one reason I havent made the jump to aftermarket, besides not riding that many, is the fact that i pansy out on the throttle whenever I am worried obut hitting bottom etc. It's a head game riding skis, I got hit the other day by another rider, a story for another day, but the cracks and damage I think have help me to go bigger the last few rides. If I mess up the hull, I'm already looking for one right now any way so......

oh O and there it is.......was a unrelated statement to the text below it in the above post, lol. I meant its time to build something new. How you guys that live in FL and are exposed to great surf breaks and ride spots manage to have any fun in flat even with the best ski going is beyond me? get that sj back and start beatin on it again

The sooner you embrace ugly skis the sooner you'll be a better rider.

Here's my plan, the hull will be for sale after this weeks killer surf.

Carbon FS1 hull, includes pump shoe, hood seal, latch, hood hooks. Front spray rail, rear strap, RRP carbon ride plate, bilge pump, fittings, long exhaust tube.

Will take fresh pics tomorrow. Working on a price now. Would take a stock or mostly stock RN on trade.

Keeping my pole and drive line unless I got an offer I couldn't pass on for the complete package.

I'm going back to having two skis!

Wow. Wasn't expecting that. I thought it would be a smaller motor in the Rickter. Good luck whatever you decide. One less dick on a 1000cc Rickter.
