Do all Freaks have this low of a tray? Guess I never noticed this in some of the other builds.

How do you turf this, 25mm padding on the low spots and some of the 8mm on the high spots to even it out a bit?

I did 25 mm and then just did some sanding in the middle to get it a little more even.

As for the hump/pump area. With my FW ski we used 2 layers of 8m in the foothold with 1 layer of 8 on the pump hump. Really worked out great. Forward tray just has 1 layer of 8. Then the top of the foothold has 25 mil ..... When you kick in your in!

Got the bottom all wet sanded & buffed.... Looks great for cheap paint

Started working on my footholds today. Cut them out in the rear, going to foam the wings some & bring the footholds back some. I want them more direct rear kick in foothold like my Rickter had. Also wanted them further back for a surf ski

Finished but only a little ride time before I ripped out gas tank and battery box inserts with my weird gas tank. It's all glassed back in evenbetter than before in better spots with lots of carbon reinforcement.

Got the top deck painted.... Got some turf & pad coming from Thrust.... Got my 2 foot straps ready... Tem's got my pole done! Ski is going together nicely

Now I just need the motor, pipe, carbs, etc

3-4 wks until I'm on the water

Never going to believe this.... First thing this morning I push the ski out side on the stand to bake in the sun.... No big deal right

The wind blew the forking ski over... Man was I pissed

The hull only had 3 small marks I can live with, but the hood is forked
