Another modified Superjet Hull

So I have this extra sn hull that I've started cutting into. Seen other guys post builds so I figured I might as well document this one. Plus it's my first time

This ski had previous footholds done to it as well as new foam in the foot trey but nothing was done right therefore I must do it.

Whoever did it, did it right. You use the pink EPS foam because it doesn't absorb water.

Sorry I didn't mean the wrong type of foam. It wasn't shaped at all. It was literally a bunch of small blocks everywhere. I was wondering why the tray sounded hollow

Finally breaking ground. Have the back end cut. Somewhere between 4 and 5 inches shorter. Next is to start cutting the nose. I will be ordering materials this week.

Very nice! Looks real similar to how I cut the back of my square. I think I went a little shorter on the back. Still have yet to finish and ride it. It’s a lot of work.

Yup shortened and rockered the nose, still working on the nose. I didn’t go with the carter b rocker nose kit I built my own nose entirely too and bottom deck of the nose. Running a round nose pole bracket too.

Some guys make a lot of horizontal cuts on the bottom deck and put wedges in to get the rocker but I do t like that idea for strength and weight reasons. I completely build mine from scratch but it has and still is taking hundreds of hours.

Some people do that on purpose and put a drain at the bottem of the hull, lets any water that makes it in there drain out after.

I guess I didn't think about that. Honestly can't say I agree too much with it or at least with how this one was done. Literally when you knocked on the foot trey it sounded hollow. And when I tore it open I just laughed cause it pretty much was lol
