I like sinclair... its a very clean lake, and its not alwyas supercrowded anywhere. Plus we have a "family" lot there with a trailer on it, with lake property. So i would just scoot accross the lake and have fun! When will the official location be announced, so i can start working on my work plans ect... Sinclair would be my vote.

Exit 304, Cullman, AL, literally 5 minutes off of I-65. If most people will agree on this spot-I WILL MAKE IT HAPPEN! I already have permission from the STATE OF ALABAMA MARINE POLICE and CULMMAN COUNTY PARKS AND RECREATION, is all I have to do is plan a date 3 months in advance and we can have SMITH LAKE PARK and the water in frt of the park will be marked off by the po po for us. (Cullman Co is DRY) If u drink alcohal, do it w/ a little common sense!(cups not cans and bottles).

It really doesn't matter to me! I'm just excited about my first organised ride, plus it being within 2 hours of me=awesome-ness!! Once everyone makes a decision, sticky it for sure...

One question, who do all of you expect is organizing this imaginary event? As of right now, noone has stepped up to organize anything, no matter where it could possibly be held.

This is going to be a great event. It is about 300 miles closer for me than daytona. i am going to try and build another ski for this event. :highhorse: Sounds like the cure for spring riding blues.

Trying to get a event before that one, to get things going, i suppose. Wasn't last years SFF in march? Then go to that one that is already planned when it comes around. Chances are, i'm going to both when they come around!

no, it was in May. over what ever weekend the 19th fell on.

Do it up Gil,I am in for Cullman,as well as the Chicken bone. I would love to have an event here in my own backyard but I do not know the particulars involved in putting on such an event and presently I cannot spare the time event preperation would require.I am currently restructuring my business gearing toward used pwc sales and parts versus just repairs,that is taking up most of my free time now.After that is up and running I would be interested in having something here but preferably later in the year,say after Labor day. :thewave:

I dont think anybody is forgetting your ride, it is all over the site!!!!!!

The SF freeride (Lanier/Riot Ride) dates back to 2002. It is a tradition to have a ride in GA. Right now it is up in the air........ there is nothing wrong with having more rides in different locations.

personally, I prefer smaller "Un-organized rides"
