Any interest in a trip to Hugenot JacksonVille, FL Nov 9th through the 10th?

I headed down to Hugenot on (Nov 9tht) to do some sitting and standing watersports until (Nov 10th). This is the end of my first summer of watersporting and dont really know too many of the ropes in Florida, but am very anxious to give it this place a good go.

1. I've decided to nail the place at Hugenot in Jacksonville, FL per several posts (below)

2. This is an open invitation event. If anyone would like to come or offer up some ideas please let me know.

3. Trailers - I have a single trailer but I have two PWCs. If anyone from Atlanta wants to go and has spot for a Superjet then that would be awsome; or I can pull a borrowed double trailer. I have a GP1200R and a RN Superjet. If I end up taking only one, then the SJ is going to have all the fun.

I dont mind that but being a pretty new rider I'm not yet comfortable with a lot of surf. Savannah is a straight shot from Atlanta though.

hugenot park in Jacksonville. all types of riding surf,flat. We r there almost every weekend.

HugueNot sounds PERFECT! I've adjusted the starting post to reflect. Is there a camp/site right there at a marina somewhere? I see HugueNot memorial park on the map but thats like a park not a marina/camp ground. Any Corp/Engineer/Federal places around which will accept a yearly pass?

Please let me know an address to a place and I'll book one camp-site or maybe two close together if the price is reasonable. I dont know the area but am willing to get this rolling

You can Camp at huguenot and either beach launch there or this is a boat ramp down the rd

I'm going back and forth between Savannah and Charleston every weekend but I'll try and have my skis down so I can stick around and ride that weekend. At least one day anyways.

The beach is nice to launch from if you have a 4x4 but most of us don't so we just launch under the bridge with dollies.

Getting stuck is hit and miss. If the sand is packed there's no problem getting in and out with cars and 2wd trucks. There's usually at least 2 guys with 4X4's in the group if you do get stuck.

I haven't ridden off the front side of the beach since the time that cop was yelling at us and telling our girls how much trouble we were in, lol. Good times, good times, lol.

Yup, we've ridden off the backside or from under the bridge ever since.

I dont think I'll get stuck? Subaru All wheel Drive was always better in the snow up north than my fathers 4x4... in the snow anyway

Just dont drink beer on the beach, the rent-a-cops dont like that! And dont have more then four adults at one campsite and you MUST have a tent set up on every site that rent. Also dont go throw the gate at night with people laying down in your truck bed.

You'll be fine either way and the DNR is usually cool with us. Our guy was a foot off the ground when Jordan and I finally realized he was on shore with full lights, siren, bullhorn in hand and had been for several minutes getting madder and madder. He even had our girls on shore waving their arms like crazy or he was gonna start writing tickets. We talked him down pretty quick and he left without writing any tickets. He was out of line and I had him on 3 technicalities within the first minute and he knew it.
