I have a fiberglass Rickter FS1 with a big bore 701 (763), b pipe, etc.. I absolutely love everything about the hull and the entire package is a lot of fun BUT, I would really like to be able to flat water backflip. The only short hull I've really been comfortable on is the XFS (probably because I own a Rickter). Unfortunately the XFS (and XFR) seem to be holding their value and I just can't justify the 5k, 6k and I really don't want to go the bigger motor route either. Has anyone shortened a FS1, FS2, FR2? How different is the XFS from the FS1?
