I hate doing them with that much height because it really compresses whatever knee comes down first.

What's harder a backy or a barrel roll?

The barrel roll is the hardest for me, by far.
My form starts out okay, but when I am upside down I start to uncurl.

Examples:

The v-wake makes it work because it's so big, but the technique is still lacking somewhere.
