ARE THESE PERFORMANCE PARTS WORTH IT !?!?

Good answer! 12 years ago when I was looking for my first standup, I wish I was able to start on a superjet. Skip the Kawis and go straight to an older square nose would've been so much better than dicking around with 550s.

I agree and disagree. Sure it might not be a speed demon. But i certainly do not in any way regret that i bought a 550. It would of been nice to buy a sj at the beginning. But i would not be nearly as mechanically inclined nor would i have a lot of experience with fiberglass as i do now because i bought the thing abused and had to rebuild it from the ground up. Plus, Once you can ride a 550 like a pro, you can ride anything. With my experience with this machine, I can help out some of my friends who have superjets and dont know whats wrong. Start from the bottom and work your way up is how i look at it

I agree with what you say as well. Taught me how to work on them and everything. I still own a mint 91 550sx that I ride all the time. But for all the time I wasted with them, I wish I just bought a superjet from the start.

If u like chasing buoys & Kawis look into a SXI PRO. I owned a lightly modded 01 years ago, fairly quick and an absolute blast to ride. Should of never sold it.

My mind is already set on either a sj or a sxr because i do jump waves, but i also have access to some real good glass water that i can really push it to the max. Im all about speed, but tricks are still fun
