Did you verify spark on each plug yet? Plug wires could be worn out and need to be cut back some.
Confirm plugs are sparking, not just that current is going through wire.
Compression is 150/150. Haven't leaked down yet or pulled the flywheel though.
Internal filter looked brand new
No, I wasn't paying attention to that at all. What does that mean?
Or just disconnect the black plug don't have to pull anything apart or swap with amother known good one....
Rained for days and couldn't get anything done. Put the stator in today and same thing. Borrowed a voltage rectifier-regulator from a friend and no change. Had two things left I could swap, a coil and a known bad cdi. I through the bad cdi in and it fired RIGHT up.
I'm pretty pissed seeing as this new cdi was less than a year old. Cheap ebay crap.
Twice now in my jet ski career I've been stumped for weeks on end and had to make help threads. Both times it was a bad cdi and each time the symptoms were completely different. Go figure.
Thanks for the help guys
I am trying to get a picture uploaded but it's being a pain in my @ss right now.Was it an oem cdi that was bad?
