Pretty sure Steve knows all this as he has built many many skis before. He is just looking to try something different, as if a -6 nose rockered blaster isn't different enough!

ya were good in the motor dept. the x cased 850 is more of lets see how it runs. i can swap the motor out in 20mins. no big deal. we have all the normal big motor in stock ready to rock.

gp800 motors fit nicely even with stock exhaust and carbs on blasters. you just need to move or add motor mounts on hull side and cut a new through hole for exhaust on the firewall. they are very economic when stock and pump some good reliable power.

a blaster is a perfect place for a nice 66e setup with a WDK pipe and pumped up compression IMO. They fit nice and hit even nicer.

No Not yet, Have a 61X 61x 771 I'm gonna try and then may the 62t 61x 771. We have our own Big Bores and Just trying to fine tune some motor combos and make some packages affordable. People aren't spending crazy money anymore.

Blaster Guys are a serious bunch normally? Hey Zimmy nice meeting ya in Daytona and thanks my kids are now saying " Hey dad why is this guy in the orange helmet upside down and your not?" so now I have a doner blaster hull cut to pieces in my garage. I itch fiberglass all day long and collect bottles and cans along the road to save for my new motor!! Where can I get a hold of the guy who makes that front piece before I start sculpting mine? The back is 4" shorter now and almost done and the front is cut off wide open. I Love to see everyones variations of these. Daytona is gonna be a blast next year with 75 blasters flipping.
