Bud, lt's been flat as ever for a few weeks here.
Last Friday I went out for a ride with my wife. It was FLAT. The only chance at air was in about a foot of water. I was also testing my helmet cam for the first time. So the ride had merit.
I was mostly keeping my head trained on her to see if I needed to shim the cam.
I got some air off of a HUGE 1 footer, and somehow slammed the handlepole into the top of my knee. Yep, no padding, that nut just rammed right on in there.

I could barely move it each day for the last week when I got up in the morning. By noon it would work out. I've had one surgery on that knee due to a jet ski mishap.

If there were waves today, Aircraftsalz & I were gonna ride and I was/am stoked to do a flip. My ski is ready....I am ready....just waitin' on a wave!

Lucas was doing huge one leg BF on Sunday Josh and Chris were going big on thier BFs, Chris is the carnage master , pole snapped with the ski doing dounuts in the impact zone just as a set would push it out, the current in the inlet would take it back out, Josh and I spent 15 min. trying to stop it which resulted in more carnage.
I sprouted some balls and later in the day and plated a few, got lazy and under rotated a couple , that could of been ugly, grabed full WFO and skyed a rag doll in the foot wells for a while.

Are you guys using Trim in the surf for flips?

Yes & No, when we have waves like we did Sunday no trim. But when the surf sucks & we have no faces trim will keep you flipping.

With Tem's hull you never need trim, it so light & flips so fast. I rode his ski for 5 minutes Sunday & ripped a huge BF & didn't even try. You gotta use caution when flipping those light Ski's, the double BF doesn't seem out of reach.

Yes, I could see that on Tem's hulls.

When I rode Pat's orange ski at world finals, that thing wanted to almost be in a tail stand no matter how you rode. So nose light!

I hope to meet all you guys in Daytona who I didn't meet at the worlds and get some flip pointers - hope grow a pair and pull my first full clean flip :arms: Never been in the surf.

Trying to come up with a stocker/mild drivetrain to throw in the FS-1 for the weekend. I don't know if XScream will have my 1000 done in time, but I also don't think I want to run that in the surf for the first time riding it!!!! :nutkick:

Tem's Hull with the Stock gas tank, etc rides normal & its a BF hull. Its all about the weight in the front. But for flatwater the nose high ride is the way to go.
